Woman I work with father passed. He was a fisherman who made his own plugs, lead, etc. She gave me 35 pounds of lead (bar form).I was wondering the value of the lead. I also posted on another site. I would be interested in trading for some custom plugs. Let me know. Thanks guys.

check with your local plumbing supply( I havent bought any in a few years), that's where I buy mine.., they can tell you what it is worth, if, it is pure lead and not melted wheel weights...

Lead is ~1.16 a pound today.
Most tackle shops want to give you .45-.50 a pound.
Then will sell weight for .15-.20 an ounce, a nice markup!
All metal prices are UP!!!

just not sure it is worth it to either one of us to send/ship lead to "The Dirty" if it is even allowed at all.
