How can I get a few worms while on the beach?Don't want to put bait stores out of business, sometimes I just run out and could use a couple to keep me going. Can they be dug up(where?) or are they under rocks? Thanks
Blood worms are on the South Shore. They can be dug up in the back bays at low tide. Pitch forks work best.
Sandworms are on the North Shore. Again low tide and mud flats. Large rocks especially the flat ones will usually produce a few worms when turned over.
