You know how MS Windows will prompt you to remember user names and passwords for a given site and you can click yes or no?

Well, what if you click no now and later want it to remember the id/pswd? How do you get Windows to remember the id/pswd after you've already told windows not to?

It won't if you clicked no. Next time around click yes if you want it to remember it.

close browser then bring it up again then go to site you want to save it will pop up again

unless you clicked no and then put a mark in don't ask again. then you can use a program that cleans your cookies and it will pop up the next time you go to the site.

i use spybot search and destroy 1.5 version and it cleans all the cookies so i have to reenter my passwords again. or just take the check mark off of cookies.

Not a very good idea to have Windows remember your ID but if you insist.
1-From the desk top right click on Internet Explorer and then on Properties
2-Click on the contents tab at the top.
3-In the Personal Information click on Auto Complete.
Here you will notice Boxs to place marks in...so either place a mark in "User namesand passwords on forms" and also in "Prompt me to save passwords".
