Sorry about posting a wind question on the lure building topic. Anyway, generally speaking, what effect does wind play on surf fishing? For example the Montauk area - will a NW wind push bait and fish offshore, so fishing the North side would be better? What about other wind directions. I'm sure there are MANY variables, so any info would be greatly appreciated!
