Anybody have this game console? The wifey wants to get it. I have played it and it seems entertaining. Though the graphics are cartoonish the gameplay is pretty accurate. I am just wondering about other games like hockey and baseball. Are they better graphically than PS2 which I already own. Pros and Cons of the system.

The wii sports games are the cartoonish ones most of the other games have great graphics.Though I'm not into the sports games that much the shooter games are pretty good.I just got the resident evil game and my son and I can't put it down.The rapala fishing game is pretty good too.

I bought it for the kids

and I use it more than they do! I am a big fan of the sports games especially baseball and tennis. Boxing is pretty cool too! I also got the bar games and play darts, shuffleboard and beer pong! I like it because it gets you off the couch and moving around so you are at least getting a little excerise!

My Girlfriends got it and it is really cool system. We just got fishing for it and were both addicted. The other sports games are great to. Its cool because you have to do the moves with your hands to play the game so you have fun and get some much needed exercize to lol

Pro: Best family friendly game on the market - IMO. We got it for my daughter and we spend more time playing together than we did playing other games before. She & I will play before or after dinner almost every night and she has bowled a 245! She generally kicks my butt at bowling, but I own her at tennis. Lots of fun and I can't wait to set it up on the 46" screen! Even my mother in law @ 86 years old, likes to bowl with her. HIGHLY reccomended!

Con: I got resident evil 4 for me to play and find the controls on that particular gave VERY awkward. Perhaps it's just because I'm spoiled with the keyboard controls for call of duty, but I'm actually going to either trade in the game or sell it on e-bay. I just don't like it.

I've had it for a few weeks now and am very happy with it. Lots of fun to play with my daughter who is 4. She loves the Wii Sports. We play it on a 50" plasma and I think the graphics are pretty good for the games I have. The Wii Sports graphics are cartoonish though. I do recommend you get the upgraded cables and not use the ones they provide. I think if definitely improved the quality of the picture for me.


I like first person shooting games and have Call of Duty, with the Wii Zapper gun it is a lot of fun.

My wife got ours at Costco. It came in a "bundle" with 5 games and 2 sets of controllers for $465. She got it about a month ago.

Finally got the Wii, brought it home and it was defective. Thankfully they had enough in stock that we could exchange it. What games do you guys have and are they good?
