Okay, Place your bets .....

where do you guys think the winning fish is coming out of this year? How big do you think? Male, female or child? Bunker chunked or live? Wire trolling? Spoons? ect.

Was just reading through a few of the post on the other threads about this tourny. I cannot agree more that it is mostly LUCK. You can go to locations you consistantly get big fish granted, you can follow where all the baits been of course.....this will give you a tad of an edge. BUT, bottom line it is luck! Just being at the right place at the right time.

Going to ...

come out of the Greenwich Conn. area and some nice guy named Joe is going to do with an 18.0 fish.

It will be caught on a fresh head chunk about 10 pm Saturday night and weighed in around 11 at Hudson Park Bait n Tackle Shop.
Now if this happens?? Will I have to take a polygraph test?

For the first time since the bluefish tourney started, I will not be entering
On sunday, I will be on a charity Motorcycle run, and saturday I will fish for only a couple hours in the morning and then have too much to do in the afternoon.

So, being that I'm not in the contest I am almost garanteed to catch a monster blue.

So, when I catch it.....................if I leave it in the water still swimming and someone else comes, snags it and reels it in, will they be the winner..........

I agree with gvisko that the winner may come out of Mamaroneck as the blues are thick in the harbor and you can?t back out of your slip without plowing through a bunker bloodbath.

Me? I will be bouncing for fluke.
I see no reason to go chasing after bloody blues when the last few fluking weekends are upon us.
