Hey guys funny but we all know each other like a family just from our words.
Well maybe it would be nice for us all to have a winter bash. Maybe George and myself as well as EC can get a hall and have a Noreast winter bash dinner where everyone can meet and introduce themselves to one another? Maybe I?m crazy but thought it would be a blast. A full sit down dinner and bar and maybe some guest speakers? Anyone think it's a good idea or do I need 2 in the coconut? Lets see what you think and there is enough feed back I'll get it together with George? Anyone know a good place to do this with catering? Or my other suggestion was to talk to Joe huck a good friend of mine and see if we could do a winter Noreast cod charter of the Helen H?

Hey Tog,
Good idea but hard to get people to commit to shelling out dough for a hall and such. But I do like the idea of getting together and meeting others from this board. How about setting a date and meeting at a bar/restaurant? This way you are not holding the bag for a hall if no one shows, it's in a neutral place, if people show then it's a cash bar and chip in for hordeveres (?), and if not, it's just a few guys pounding them down. Perhaps in January after the holiday rush.

i dont know about the dinner the only way i could make that one is if its close to brooklyn in newyork but the helen h idea i would deffinetly be in for since i was gonna go this winter anyway thanks for considering some thing like this that most people wouldnt even think about!
