Hi all,

The greatest run of black fish that I have even seen and I MISSED IT!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it! "WHITE CHIN" is still untested!!

I made a 6 week committment and had to see it thru. What timing---BAD. Well my friends got in on it about 9 times and I have to listen to them all winter. UGH!!

Who else missed this great event????

Neil, I must thank you and you're buddies for turning me on to the Celtic Quest. I only got out there once, and loved it, cannot wait until next year.

You planted some good seeds up there, Captain Desi & Captain Cary. I noticed a lot of Captain Neil in the way Desi treats his customers.

Neil the fishing has been very good at 17 and the south reefs off Jersey all you need to do is get a boat from Sheepshead bay or Higlands and you'll get in on the good stuff. I know its hard to fish on other peoples boats but Hey you want to get in you better do it fast

Off in the distance I think I hear Capt John (Shinne**** Star) plotting a scheme to suck me into working deck this Friday/Saturday. If he doesn't kill me first then my wife will. I should know better and lister to her. Maybe I'll get lucky and finally catch some nice tog.

Glad you had a good trip with those young tigers!. I was very fortunate to have many fine young fishermen work the boats with me. I think about 5 of them have their licenses and are operating their opwn boats.

I was also fortunate to have a couple young ladies work deck. They were a valuable addition to the crew.

Not me, I only made 3 trips but they were good-the best in my life! Orient and Gardiners Island. Many fish 20-26 inches (no scale). the only thing that held me down was the wind and my marina took my boat 1 month early by mistake.

White Chin Untested?

Capt. Neil, whaddya mean, "'White Chin' is still untested?" I thought it handled that 10" short with no sweat. The rod is awesome.

Captain Neil....you still have great fishing from 17 fathoms east to Southwest Ledge. Right now it is a matter of getting the weather to cooperate.
