Hi all,
I am about to put some braid on my reel but i
heard i need to put some mono first...so which know do i use
to connect to my braided line/??
and how much mono do i actually use??

personally, I use a blood knot to conect the 2, and use about 6 or 7 wraps of mono around the spool, just enough to keep the braid from spinning. IMHO there's nothing worse than ending up using the backing as actual fishing line just to save a few $$$. Every year you can flip the braid to keep fresher line on top.
