I've been fishing for Blackfish since the season offically started at Robert Moses, but the last week has seen them just about vanish from the docks. So I thought that I would try my luck fishing for Flounder. The only trouble is I can't find out where the Flounder are.

I did most of my Fluke fishing at the north Captree pier and Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai, but there doesn't seem to be any fish or fishermen there.

I was reading somewhere that there is a magic number to watch for when thinking about Fall Flounder, the number was water temp and it was below 60. I think the water is still just a tad to warm to put together a decent Flounder catch. just my $0.02
