Where is everybody ?
Seems like this is the second weekend at Burns Park in 'pequa where less than 20 trailers were parked each morning. Is it the hot and humid with a chance of a thunderboomer, the brown tide, or the price of gas ? Meanwhile, a whole lot of boaters are staying on plane inside the buoys, evidently ignorant of Town of Oyster Bay restrictions. (Constables having fun too.) My yak takes wakes better than my boat, so I don't care, but it just seems like most of the weekenders are newbies. Have been out on my own boat and a buddy's during the week, and you would have thought it was still April for the lack of boat traffic.

Hazy, Hot & Thunderboomer predictions had us make plans to take my 8 year old to See Kung Fu Panda instead.

Don't complain! Better to have less traffic out there for you.

The price of gas has me on land more often than I'd like to be. I'm just waiting till september. If I go out 5 more times in the next 2 months it will be a lot!
