Holy cow man, you only need to look around....:)

Prospect Park, Central Park, Clove Lake on SI, Meadows...There's bass all over NYC!!

Almost everyplace has shore access, boats can be rented from Memorial day to labor day at Clove Lake and Meadows.

You still need you freshwater licence, when you get it, make sure you get your Regulations book and see what access each lake or pond has, some are limited.

City bass are a sucker for plastics. I like carolina rigs with ribbed worms and lizards. Tubes, small jigs and crankbaits also get attention. My favorite colors for plastics are dark greens and browns.
