I was wondering if I could get some help from you coastal guys. I'm waiting waiting waiting for the mac's to show in mass....I know it should be any week now, But Ive got a new freezer in the basement thats hungry for some fresh bait. Has anyone been hooking into em mass yet??

Not sure where in Ma you are,
but 2 more weeks and we should have them.
But I'm not too optimistic about the mac run this year.
Last year it was bad , and from reading reports about the commercial fleet hitting them hard over the winter , I don't expect it will be any better if not worst than last year.

The Frances fleet out of RI had them on Saturday, so if you are south of the cape they should be there now.

Bluefish came in fast this year on Long Island, chased the mackeral out in a hurry .

Hey thanks for the heads up! I know last year sucked, they only stuck around boston for two weeks, But I'll be an optomist... for now. Im able to trailer my boat, so, i'll hammer em as soon as i get word theyr at the canal then chase them up to salisbury. I'm gonna hit stellwaggen tommorrow and see if i can rip the lips out of a few dozen cod. Two weeks ago The bank was on fire... couldnt go 2 minutes without a hookup... hopefully the cod gods will be there Thanks again!
