I have a friend coming fishing this weekend and they want to target bluefish. I do not usually target blues they always seem to be a by-catch I enjoy. Fishing from Freeport what would be my best area to fish? Is chum necessary? We will be fishing off a 25 foot boat. Thanks for all the information.

Cholera Banks, get 3 can s of chum, 2 pounds of butterfish, 5 pounds of spearing and chum blues, bonita and albacore. But you have to be set up and fishing by 6 or the traffic will wipe you out.
