The reason I bought a kayak in the first place was to get into spots to fish from shore that were no access from foot or by car....like today myself and fellow yaker steve decided to fish this area that we have looked at for awhile but could never get in there, so we beached our kayaks and fished. Sometimes its more productive to get out of the kayaks and wade which we did and produced about 15 fish each for us. This spot is impossible to get to by foot and boats cant make it through the shallow water-just perfect for yak...ohh here is a pic of me.

that tape is on my buddys yak and I think it came with it...A good idea is put some reflective tape on you paddle blades.
