Paul McCartney, live in Quebec City
250,000 people for his free show during the celebrations of the 400th anniversary of Quebec City
July 20th, 2008
250,000 show up!!!
Not bad for a 65 year old guy whose hieght of popularity was almost 40 years ago. I wanna see any one of the current day "superstars" pull this off in 40 years.
People will go who's giving a free concert?
Never heard of him.
I didn't know Toggy played drums for him??
Imagine if he did this in Central Park. Can you imagine the numbers that would show?
Quebec City has a population of 671,000 - 250,000 showed up. That's 37% of the pplation.
NYC hasa population of 8,200,000 - if you have the same % deciding to go - you end up with over 3,000,000 people!!
Page loads slow - but some great pictures.
