I send him a compliment on the great job he's doing with the reports & now he's asking for money.Does anybody understand what this is all about?
I understand doing the reports might cost him a little money,for batteries(camera)& gas.But if he's allready outthere fishing,what more can he ask for.Do I get paid when I post a report?
He sent me this E-mail yesterday.& before I send him anything,I want to know what this is about.
I'm not going to send anything when I can't even get up to date reports.

Apparently, before JY began reporting for Noreast. He maintained a website where folks could pay $35 a season to get his daily e-mail reports. If he is still doing them, I would imagine that they are more detailed than the daily reports he posts here.

Long before his reports started on this site,Jack had an e-mail list of people that wanted daily reports and they paid him to do it.
Give the people what they want.

Jack?s service has been available for a few years now and he will continue to supply that report to his list. There is no conflict with Noreast.com.

As you can imagine he?s been catching a lot of heat from many of your brother anglers for providing this report. People claim it?s ?burning spots? in Montauk (like there?s some secret spots there that we?ve never heard of) and they are pressuring him to stop. It reminds of a few years back when we had the web cam in the Montauk Lighthouse taking an updated shot o Turtle Cove that had to be removed due to pressure from local anglers and surfers.

I think we can all agree that what he?s delivering Noreast.com adds to the overall site experience and he should be commended for it. So if you enjoy the report don?t hesitate to send him an email thanking him, because I?m sure he could use the support.

his reports for free on this site I AND YOU find to be an asset.....I'm sure the reports his subscribers get are even more helpful.

Guys.....I'm a little out of sorts.

I recieved an email earlier today informing me that a freind....Dave O Donnell of Daves bait and tackle in East Northport passed away yesterday.

It seems he was found in the back of his shop after freinds who were concerned because they noticed he hadn't opened for six days decided to check on him.

So anyway I seem to be a bit on edge and I apologies for my harsh and misdirected words to both of you gentlemen.

I know what kind of heat jack is getting from the locals,& I commended him on what a great job he is doing.
You have no right to talk,you don't even know the E-mail I sent him.
I simply posted this just to find out,what it was all about.
Anthonyale you should get your names right,before you ridicule somebody else.If you would just share your knowledge,as to what you know about Jacks personal reports,he sends to people,you'll probably get him alot more people being interested.
I have no problem sending someone a measily $35.00,for info well worth it,but before I did so I would like to know a little more about what I am sending money for.I am simply just protecting myself.
Thanxs Doughboy,Gruveking & George for somewhat clearing this up for me.Maybe I should have just asked Jack myself,without causing any harm.

P.S. I find the Wabbit thing pretty funny,he even adds a little humor to his reports,thats great.
