Pulpit, Wide rail so it it easy to move around while people when they are fishing. Extra rod holders in the bow, upper deck and on the overhand of the upper deck, Seating on upper deck, Spacious cabin, large comfortable booths and easy to get into bunks so I don't have to hear my dad say the bunks are a little tight on that boat, Heated hand rails that don't heat up to the point you can not hold them and those little courtesy. sinks like the Merrilee Ann has in the stern. Also a semi spacious bathroom.

Might seem odd but I the idea of NO ouside seating......like you see on Japanese partyboats. Everybody keeps their coolers up against the cabin wall which leaves a nice clear aisle
!!!!!....and if anyone needs to sit down.....they sit ON THEIR COOLERS.

Problem is, even on boats where coolers fit under the seats, people always have to pull them out into the aisle to open them. Then they friggin leave them there.

COOLER HOPPING SUCKS!!!!

Then again, we'd probably still make a mess of it. :)

I have seen fishfinder displays on the tv in the cabin.. that is cool.... how about monitors on the outside of the boat - maybe built in to a window - where anglers can see the fishfinder display while fishing. Would be especially cool if it was a side scanning sonar.

And a boat that burns bio-diesel!

Tear down the engines after a couple of years and they'll look like the day they were built.....plus less frequent oil changes.....plus being able to market an enviro-friendly boat (paint it green, lol)....plus fishermen in the stern don't have to suck diesel smoke all day, smells like fried chicken, which will boost galley $ales!!!!

$10 max fair Lol,plus all the other ideas already posted.Serously though higher and deeper than normal benches outside so the guy with the 162qt igloo cooler on a fluke trip can put it under and out of the way.The boat still must have a large area between the bench and rail.As shebeen already stated COOLER HOPPING SUCKS!
