With the closure of the fluke season just yesterday, what will you fish for now?
Seabass on the wrecks?
Bluefish?
Schoolie bass?
Next week I may make a run to 17 for a bluefish trip,but after that I just don't know...

Cany,
I hope the fall sharking picks up as well as the tuna bite because its hardly worth the run so far this season.Later in the fall when the bigger bass start there run I'll target them and maybe some blackfishing however there is a big gap.The whole month of september is a question mark right now.

Paul,

Looks like it's bay fishing for a few days, I think the ocean is going to be very ugly for the next week or so due to the storms. There are some weakies around with snappers in your/mine neck of the woods. Also, the kingfish should be around for bait, may try that at night.

I figure everyone and there mother is giong to be anchored on the wrecks so I will stick with bass and blues for now. If things heat up in the deep I may try to hitch a couple of rides out that way:)

took an evening stroll last night the ocean is all mixed up and now it's in the bay as well not a fish or bait or nothing last night 6 to 8PM, the gulls were all sitting on the beach??? So I'll target anything thay swims lol. Mostly Bass and Blues, I would like a shot at those Bonitos and Albies that are here or soon to be... Sharks as well had a 6' Mako free jump on Monday 70' of water maybe were all sharking to far out:confused:
Hey they Shark from the beach in Florida:confused:

But we'll see gonna try Fri Morn before work just to get the wiggles out before the left over rain hits us

The average game plan is to target bass. If we limit out and have some time to kill I plan to have some light spinning tackle ready to cast to some top water breaking blue fish. If it is a nice day I would target sea bass first and then stripers. We use to bass fish first and then fill in the day with sea bass but now most of my sea bass spots are out side of the EEZ.

I still have not given up on Tuna. Perhaps some of those bluefins from up north will set up down here.

Early morning plugging the islands for Stripers. Netting peanuts for the live well and heading east to find Albies and Bonito and instead of matching the hatch....I will create the hatch by tossing handfuls with the hopes of attracting fish to the boat.
