The boat was sold in Fla. Walter got an offer he could not refuse. I happen to be friends with Capt. Richie and when he gets back from Fla I will let you know if in fact they are looking for a larger boat but I do not believe they are.

Its part of the Reward Fleet in Miami Beach . The Reward Fleet runs half day trips mostly drift fishing . There normal runs are only a few miles out . The boat is kept in very good shape .

Miss Point Lookout

Capt Walter ran a real 1st Class Party Boat. The MPL was truly missed this past season. Always had a good time on that boat......
I hope that Capt Walter and his Family come out of "Retirement" REEL soon!!!!!!

Missed...

I also truly enjoyed fish on the Miss. Pt. Lookout. I was a regular on that boat. The mates were great (Matt, Casey, Rich, Keith, ect.), always clean and comfy. Always had my certain spot at the rail........;)

Miss Point Lookout

here is the deal with the MPL.

The MPL2 is called Anothyer Reward sailing out of South Beach Florida. The MPL3 was sold to someone in Florida but has since moved to Daytona Beach Florida.

Walter was looking for a larger faster boat but setled with a boat that used to be from Jersey called the MiJo. Its a 55ft boat that does 18 knots and is in decent condition. The boat is out of Fort Myers Florida and might be coming back to Lookout if business is slow doen there....which it is very good right now.

I went down to South beach in November and attempoted to fish the reward but it blew a motor. apparently, the capts there push the boat a little harder than they should. that, by far, is a elegant boat. top notch and walter is a great guy. he is currently running the elsie k pricess as a ferry in NYC.
