I was down at East Haven Town Beach around 9pm, using squid....I was getting tons of bites (tide was on it's way in)....I eventually pulled in a sand shark....I think...
It was definitely a shark...about 3ft long...
I let it go but I'd like to figure out what it actually was. I'm quite sure it wasn't a dog fish...it just looked like a mini me of Jaws.
Any one know what the **** I caught?

This is the most commont species in your area. Yes, they do look like a "mini-me" of Jaws!
