You all remember - the one that was entered in the Fisherman's Dream Boat Contest last Summer? Seems to have just quietly faded away.

Probably for the best, I suppose . . .

Her fish was disqualified as a world record because her rod rested on the gunwhale at some point when reeling in the fish. Since its not approved by the IGFA she couldnt win the dreamboat contest...I think. I dont exactly recall what the rules are for the dreamboat contest but I do know the IGFA didnt give her the record because of the violation.

After taking a polygraph, she was allowed to enter the dreamboat contest....she didnt win. Her application to the igfa for the alltackle world record was denied because she rested the pole on the rail or something similar which violates the IGFA's rules.

That was some saga last year and entertaining reading about it !

Given how great an angler she is ,we surely will be hearing about another record or near record catch by her!

yep, one who already has a bogus record seemed to forget one of the most common rules of the game when it comes to the igfa????????? but the ***** ate it anyway???? lol certain tackle shops need to start gut checking fish when they weigh in suspicous fish. her so called record weakie is more of a fluke than anything.
