Looking for some guidance on the NorthShore

Can anyone suggest some decent bridges or piers ect decent spots to do some fishing. I am mainly looking around the Dix Hills Hunn Northport area. Work at night so try to spend my days fishing! Live in Dix hills and I am tired of taking the trip to the south shore. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated

There's the Mill Dam Bridge mentioned on your other thread.

There's the pier in Cold Spring Harbor.

There's a town float behind the Firehouse in Huntington Harbor
There's a pier a walk down from Coindra Hall in Huntington (West side of harbor)
There's a town pier in Northport Harbor.

These piers only access the harbors and are fishable for Flounder, Snappers, Bluefish and Striped Bass during the right time of season. Don't think there's any in the Sound but
there are public shore spots at Target Rock & Caumsett in Lloyd Neck and Crab Meadow Beach in Northport.
