With such a cold Spring/Summer the Bass action has been slow to arrive. With water temps in the upper 60's close to 70 the action has just blown wide open. Took 2 people out today and we boated 12 keepers at the turn of the tide. The action was fast and furious then just died about an hour after the sun was up. Here's a couple of pics of todays catch. All fish were loaded with lice so they're definitely on the move. Get out there while you can, it's that time. Oh, and to answer MrTiminct's PM of "Why do you have to kill all those Bass." The answer is that the state of CT allows a 2 Striped Bass over over 28 inches creel per fisherman a day. Im saying that I was in my legal limit to do so. Same went for today. <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=116446" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> Bass 2 Bass 1 Take home Bass 4 Bass 3 |
