Small stripers are inside harbors and back bay areas. Drifted across some mud flats today and took a few schoolie bass on pencil poppers and a skinny minnow swimming plug. Nothing to write home about but it was fish and I was happy to have found them. Had action until the sun went down and then it got too chilly to stay out. It's a slow start but at least it has started. I expect bigger fish soon. Water temps need to come up a bit. Good luck with your 2019 season everyone. Cheers !
