I'm going house hunting this weekend, at least on Saturday. Sunday I have some work to do and if there is time a little R&R. Anyone fishing this weekend? What are you guys up to?

Will put my lobster traps in the water for the season Saturday morning. Then it's yard work for me...

Tonight ~ Finishing up some minor details on the boat and then tow it home. In celebration for a job well done I will barbeque up a couple of steaks.

Spent a few late nights this week, but boat and trailer are good to go as of now,

batteries are charging as we speak. Funny how easy it is to remove trailer brake drums once someone tells you the correct way to do it . (My local boat repair guy was quite helpful and answered my questions.

)

Saturday ~ Splashdown!

I will splash my boat in the morning and then take it for a shakedown run. I then have to figure out how to pull into the slip and properly tie off . I plan on practicing pulling in and out for a while before the marina becomes crowded.

If all goes well I will be fishing the late afternoon / evening in pursuit of Mr. Bass.

Sunday ~ Have a thing to do down at the marina for most of the day (spring clean up

) and hope to be back out fishing in the evening.

Yeee Ha!!! fishing time has started for me!

Sat...Passover dinner with wifey's family, discussing fishing season with my Brother-in-Law - Commercial Pinhooker.

Sun...Start packing up some stuff around the house, bought a new home in
fantastic shape..the excitement builds!!!

Mon thru Friday...Spring Break Vacation in Washington, DC, I should say
Working vacation - Boss made me a deal that if I score this account, the family vacation is on Him!

When I get back, fishing my Ballz off!!!

Then, I will start to fill up my new storage facility

The place down the road was clearing out a couple of their old storage sheds, so me and Y-Von stopped to take a look. They had a couple marked down to 60% off

...they had a little staining from where the water dripped off the roof and splashed mud, road grime, etc...up the front and back......like I really care about that............

...so, my beautiful lovely wife bought me one

...........and I managed to get it delivered for no charge and they threw in the cupolo and a ramp (normally $250 more) at no charge.

It took the delivery guys less than an hour to set it in place..............

their trailer tilts, extends, rotates, and has a second set of axels that drop down from under it powered by hydraulics and they can jacknife the trailer without moving the truck
