Weakfish Post - Again

OK, so I just read through the 35 page post on weakfish, but didn't see anything that answered my questions.

As a kid, we jigged bucktails for weakies in the Delaware Bay and did OK, but that was 25 years ago.

If I mostly head into Raritan, when and where do I have the best chance of finding weaks?

Thanks for the replies.

I'm just trying to recreate the days I had now that I've got a son. It's a different fishery so I don't think the "jig a bucktail till your arm falls off" rules apply.

It's be nice to pick up a few for old times sake.

So they're there, but we don't need meat hunters hitting the fishery this early. Gotcha.......
