anybody else watching this sucker? My boat is supposed to hit the water next week, there's some nice water pushing up to the edge, I'm guessing it'll break off and head west unfortunately for me. Any Jersey, Md, or Del guys getting out there yet?

the water looks like it will be shrinking soon. With the weather in the forecast looks like it will be gone before we have a break in the weather. If it is still there by the time we get an opening in the weather we will be there if it is still with in range. Lets hope it stays warm

that break looks like it is right up on the 100 line now of the southern canyons. The jersey guys have gotta be fishing this break right? Are they just keeping quiet? I read somewhere the canyon runner guys fished it last week and pulled some bluefins out of it. Anybody hear anything?

I believe they fished the south end of it off Delaware.

i looked on other sites and there is some small leaks of fishing off of jersey and delaware.this water is deffinitely moving n/e and looks like it could get into position.

i looked at terrafin and it is interesting the eddys shooting off the bodies of water are nice this water has been stable and moving up the coast for about 8 days.it should have fish in it.

bfin/and sharks with yellows mixed in.me and my crew are running once it gets a little closer and mother nature lets us.

good luck boys...

There is a lot of chatter on other sites about this water. It isn't an eddy, it's the gulf stream itself. It doesn't normally come in quite as close as it is, but it has happened before.

Don't count on it pushing north. If anything it will break south/east. Eddies normally move east to west, and don't push up as much as move over.

Anyway, that's what people a bunch smerter then me say.

I wish I could say we did fish this but with one boat in Miami, another in a shed in North Carolina and our Regulator being set up to be displayed outside the Huntington Hilton for outside our Seminar this Saturday we are without a boat.

I am sure there are tuna in it but there is also alot of wind in it as well as you usually get extreme conditions up here with a break like that. We would not even think about running to it unless we had a forecast of 5-10 knots winds and 1-3 foot seas from the day before we were heading off to the day after we return - even if we were going in our 60' - so be care to who decides to make that run.

witrh water that moves in this time of year the temp breaks would not be that viable.the fish tend to be in the middle of a patch of water.so for instance the 48-65 degree break the fish would not be on that edge but probably to the middle to the back of it which could increase the drive a ways.

it sucks!im dieing to get out there but c runner makes a good point it could be shang rA la or it could be the humounga cowabunga from down under...

its gonna break loose early.theres already a ****-load of bunker around its just time b4 the blues and bass come a knockin and then those toothy critters from the deep.(AT LEAST LETS HOPE)
