I am having problems catching weakfish in Coney Island. This place is closer to home so I am trying to catch new fish that is adapt to the environment. I have tried all my weakfish experiences and still got no WEAKS. I got tons of fluke and blues. I am using a 6'3" spinning rod and 10# big game line. The lures I have tried are pink, yellow, orange, black and white, green, and purple twisters and fin-s. I tried bucktails, bait, hopkins No Equals, and plugs. I tried both day and night. I am fishing the morning incoming to high tide and high to low tide.

Am I doing it right?
