guys,
For the last several days I've been receiving e-mail that has gotten trapped by our virus blocker. It appears that its coming from someone on this board, since its usually identified as coming from an address of someone on this board. The "from" address varies, so I can't pin down who actually has the virus, but its someone who has our addresses in his address book. The message I get when the mail gets trapped is "was infected with the malicious virus [email protected] and has been deleted because the file cannot be cleaned." Watch out and run your virus checker today!

Not everyone keeps their virus software updated. With so many new viruses, I dropped the software altogether!

So, whenever we are going to send an email with an attachment, we first send an email note of this just ahead of it.

Mike, are you using exchange server for emails outside of noreast.?
We run barracuda spam blocker and Norton's enterprise anti virus.
Have nerd take a look at the address and do a who is look up.
We find a lot of people flooding our exchange server with bots and
hidden executable files, that's why we do not allow .exe and any file attachments that can execute a program.
