On the Republican side I think McCain would be better off with Romney than Huckabee. There are allot of people (my mother included) who will vote for McCain over Obama, but would NOT vote for a ticket with Huckabee on it.
I've heard Gov . Crist's name bantered around too, but I don't know.

Now I do...The other Richardson has been in the press lately - boggles the mind, elected officials with a say in policy matters that affect us all can't manage her own finances - yep who but her to be in a better position to help craft the housing bailout of the specuvestors who bought 5,000 sq ft McMansions as retirement homes...

While she may be an attractive candidate (on Many levels) she is even younger than Obama. Since McCain's biggest swipe at Obama is his inexperience and being too young to take on such a big job, picking someone even younger than him takes that argument away.

Hope Mcain can find someone who is not profiting from the oil prices being so high but you have to believe in something I guess..

Surely you don't expect a smooth operator like Obama to be a racist, do you?? Not him!!!
After all, getting married by, baptizing your kids by, and sitting by quietly in the pew while this was going on for 20+ yrs doesn't mean diddly. Now if it were McCain's pastor THAT would be a different story. It would not be POSSIBLE for McCain to be racially unbiased.
