I was torn between the salt and sweet water today. The boat's ready to go but I think I'll save some gas until things pick up a little in Peconic and Shinne****. Anyone see any weakfish yet?

Anyway, I canoed the upper Peconic this evening. Got a few small bass, pickeral, and this 16" brown trout. Not as big as the one I posted a couple weeks ago but still a lot of fun.A Gold Phoebe did the trick.

Tight lines,

Matt
