Tying Your Own Teasers

539 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  saltflyguy
Many surf casters have learned the value of a drop teaser ahead of a darter or metal lipped swimmer. Sometimes the primary bait in the water is too small to be properly imitated with a plug or is out of casting range for such small lures. Sharpies have been using teasers to solve this problem for decades. As many of you may be aware, teasers are essentially the same as streamer flys. In the Salty Flyrodders Beginner Level I class, you will learn all you need to know about tying your own teasers. You will even come away from the class with a few really good ones for use in the Spring when they are most effective. Check out the post in the Fly Fishing forum for more information about this class.
