I know I read a post on one of the boards a few months back on ways to turn off Toyota running lights for night beach driving, and of course didn't save it, and no matter how hard I've searched I haven't found it, I will not drive the beach unless I can turn them off. Is there an easy inexpensive way to do this and are there kits that can be purchased? Thanks, Jerry W.Babylon

Was it something with the parking brake switch? My Blazer had DRL's, and when parked and idling I could turn them off by applying the parking brake

u can go one click on the ebarke and start the truck or check this out its for FJ's but a 4runner should be almost identical...
