I'm headed out this weekend to the canyon and was wondering what kind/size jigs i should bring. I have read over at charter sites that i should pruchase diamond jigs 6-10 oz. Do i need floating type jigs?

I have purchased>: crippled hearing 10 oz. - 7 oz. jig and soft plstic yo-zuri squids lures size 7 3/4 and 12". These squid lures are almost life like. Gonna insert a 10 oz. lead and rig them with a circle hook.
Anyone have any suggestions on what types of jigs to use?

THANKS!

good jigs

this year i caught my first tuna on jigs on the jamaica, the ones i have had success with were the yozuri metallic green sardine (any color would do fine) in a 200 grams version i believe around 7 oz and the crippled herring in the blue mack 8-12 oz. at times any jig should work yesterday i was out and the jig of choice was the hammered style diamond jig so grab some of them. just curious what boat are u heading out in??
