right on with the squid jig--last weekend in the hudson I could only hook up with live squid no other bait at all did anything but, every live squid got whacked.By the way I picked up a big wahoo so dont be afraid to troll anything up to 20--yes 20 knots when you get out a ways.Just be ready to plead with the skipper to slow down or stop or you will not have any line left-
They had a great high speed rig in sw sportsmen.16-32oz trolling drail then 12-20' of heavy mono then wire then some kind of lure.almost anything will work but it needs to swim good at high speed..
