Sailed today on the ANGLER Xpress with Ron, George, Jim, Bill, Angel and Tom. Had some nice flurries early on then it became a pick. Headed east for only one more keeper. A few double headers and a few missed and dropped fish. Great day on the water with great people. Thanks fellas!

Taking reservations for Thursday Jan 31 and Sunday, Feb 3rd

some intersting coloring on those cod what is that from?

when they die the skin that is exposed to the air turns white. The skin that is touching something ex. a basket, you will get checker marks. Hope that helps!

The coloring shows it is better to take pictures as soon as you get the fish. That postmortem color change is common on many types of bottom fish. I always thought the change was on the side of the fish touching the surface and under pressure?
