Does anyone have one of these rods. What do you think of them.

You get alot of bang for the buck but they feel a bit too stiff for my angling tastes!

I never fished one but I agree with Surf 121, a little too stiff. Very similar to the Tica rods. They just don't feel balanced right to me. I'd spend the extra bucks and go straight to Lamiglas, guaranteed quality and lifetime (liberal) blank warranty.

I went out to the tackle shop yesterday and looked at a couple of those rods. The Medium Heavy action 10' rod felt like a heavy action from other companies. They looked nice but they did not feel right. I was looking for a light to medium action but was unable to find one. I am going Lamiglass this year.

the only rod i like is the conventional that they make .The stiffness comes in handy when throwing meat.
