I have owned a Bayliner Trophy since '96 . I have nothing bad to say about the boat. I have been caught in rough seas at 17 fathoms with it, at night, and have felt safe. Mine is the 2002. The hulls are made by US Marine, which is the company that builds Sea Ray. It is not the sea ray hull, but it is scrutinized with high quality control standards. The mercury powerplants are top notch and will give you reliable service, providing you maintain it properly. I wish the boat was a touch heavier, but for the dollar you cant beat the value, I would definitely buy another trophy boat. Every now and again, you see how they cut corners, but it is nothing that should change your mind about buying one.
