I received a really nice Penn trolling rod the other day for my birthday. It's the one that has the rollers in it. I've been trolling for bass on charters but never on my boat. How do I feed the line threw the rod and roller? Does it just feed threw or does it get fed around the rollers a special way? Should I use lead core, wire, nylon or braided? How far back should I troll an umbrella rig? What speed?
