Hmmm... That?s an interesting idea but here is my 2 cents worth.
First of all... I agree with you on the "NO" stretch factor! It also seems lighter and therefore... downsizing your tackle would also be in order... However, the wireline is heavier thus keeping the offering down (close to the bottom).
With braid line... you could do two things... slow down the boat speed or use extra trolling sinkers to keep your offering close to the bottom.
