trailer repair in Nassau County?

hi all,

i have an old crusty 2 axle trailer with drum brakes that stopped working a long time ago.. the wheel bearings are on their way out as well.

anyone know of any places willing to install disc brakes/new bearings? i'm locating in port washington.

another issue we have is where to keep the boat while the trailer is being repaired.. or just leave it on there?

there is a welding place that did a great job on my friend's bunk style trailer on Merrick Road, the south side, in Bellmore but close to the Merrick line. Sorry, no name recalled, but a search for welders in Bellmore should work. they did good work and were not the proverbial arm and a leg. ANDERSONS !
