I have a few scratches on my Penn 70 which are deep enough to expose the underlying metal (aluminum?). Has anyone tried gold enamel paint to touch up their penn international reels? I realize matching the anodized finish is next to impossible; this is more to prevent corrosion and make it more pleasing to the eye.
I've asked around the dock and people have simply used clear nail polish in the past, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask everyone on Noreast. Using the search function didn't turn up any results for the gold penn reels. - thx
