thanx for the replies ,
the more you think about it the the more confusing it gets .daylite savings is exactly what it states,changing the clock to allow for more light during the day,right? in any case the the clock changes by one hour twice each year but the tide still rolls on. guess we will have to check the tide tables next week to see if there any allowances for this.
