A fishing buddy of mine has one of these reels and for the money, you can't beat it. He hasn't had it that long but it looks like a durable reel. I am not sure where he purchased it but I will try to find out and let you know.

Thanks for all your information. Does anyone have a TICA Dolphin SF Reel? Seems to be the next down from the Taurus. No one on line seems to carry it.
