Does anyone think that this weeks cold front will send some bait and fish down the beaches.Its a little early in the year but this is a big front,that is lasting a couple a days.Any input?

I was at West Hampton last weekend and I have been at the beaches from Sea Cliff to Oyster Bay. I have never seen so much bait. I'm just waiting for the big boys to come in.

The reports from JB Field 6 to RM Field 5 with Gilgo & Demo between have been light except for a couple of Fluke reports. Has it been that slow or did we loose the guys who usually write those posts? Or are people just not posting anymore?

Bigger bluefish have moved close to the beach in several places. There were some teen size blues caught inside Sheepshead Bay this week, and along the South side of Staten Island. Reports of bass into the mid-teens in the early hours are also making the rounds.
