Great weather coming in for the first weekend of Bass season plus a full moon to boot. It's fishing season boyzzzzzzzz.

Guys, even know winter was a piece of cake, it's over.

Warm weather coming in and Bass season opens tomorrow......what could possibly be better then that?

Who's hitting the water tomorrow for openning day?

Boat's getting launched in the early a.m. Hopefully everything goes smooth and I can wet a line a.s.a.p.

I see our unofficial south shore scout for Long Island bass walleyeman has found them already in the Fire island area. I'll try on the weekend.

There is gin clear water now. And the sun is as high and brighter thaan any time of the year. You might be able to spot some bass in shallows as they warm in the sun in the afternoon.

And watch out for docks with nails sticking out

Been striper fishing for 3 weeks already...

Big bass are starting to show in western sound and back bays of south shore...

Should be a pretty good start to season.

Barbara, getting wet on Thursday, plan to be fishing Friday right through until Monday, I hope.
Water is still a little cold for nice sized Bass here, but I might give them a shot on Sunday.
I most likely will Flounder fish.

might go ouy today, but it waspretty cold last night so i aam thinking of waiting until friday o the weekend. suposed to be 72 on friday and in the high 60's on the weekend. hopefully some hungry bass will be in the area........

Catch one for me, been out freezing my butt off for flounder and just as bass season starts my arm is in a sling for a few weeks (tendon tear)..
