Great to see this get going. I have a small inexpensive kayak that is real easy to carry or drag to beach, ponds, rivers, etc. Have done a little fishing from it and it is a lot of fun especially when the blues drag you around like a Nantucket Sleigh Ride !
Hope to try some back bays next month and maybe score a few stripers on the fly. My biggest problem is getting out of the thing after sitting in it for a few hours ! Being on the downhill slope of 50 my back and hips are starting to make me pay a heavy price !
I do have a few problems throwing a fly from that close to the water, it is hard to get a nice cast going without dipping the fly on the backcast, but I am going from a 7.5 foot rod to a 9 foot this year in hopes of solving this problem. Any tips appresiated.
