Ok Guys, here's the deal: I have the chance of going out on a partyboat in the western sound tomorrow for flounder which has been so-so, or hitting the shoreline at Croton point park for stripers.

What's a guy to do? Opinons on the more productive day? I'm thinking the rain and runoff may curb striper fishing, while the cold may not have any effect on the flounder fishery which is still in it's intial stages.

Moment of truth

Well, did niether guys, took the day off and wound up having to bring the kids to the doctor's.

Oh well, can't wait till things heat up a bit more anyhow, but I gotta tell ya, the cabin fever is killing me!!!!

One of my best days last year was blackfishing on Dec 7th!!! It was 70 degrees and I almost limited out. As you can imagine, I've been dreaming of tog all winter. Question for Crazy and Gama: how true is the adage, "when the dogwoods bloom it's time for blackfishing?
