Finally the Helen-H sails tomorrow(01-29). This is the first trip after 01-19. They cleared ice from the dock to the main channel. Weather looks good until Friday. I'll let you know how we make out on the tomorrow trip.

Sorry, I just got a call from the Helen-H that the tomorrow trip is cancelled. Two draggers got stuck with ice outside the harbor now.

that sucks kilsong. I had to cancel my next scheduled helen h trip (2/16) because i couldn't get a ride. I'll probably do walshs instead. Then a charter the 17th. If you're interested, walsh's reopens this weekend, and there'll probably be a lot of big fish inshore... should be fun. Myself and some other noreast guys are going as well.

I am scheduled for Sunday with them. Not looking good even if the ice clears. makes me 0 for 4 so far.

I am disappointed, but I am glad we didn't go. The Helen-H went outside this morning to check the condition of the sea and took more than two hours to go 4 miles. The tomorrow trip(01-30) is cancelled already. The Walsh's Saturday trip(02-01) is sold out. They say the harbor is clear. I plan to go on the Helen-H on Saturday if they can get out.
